Political Committee

The Political Committee at CLEIMUN is a modification of the UN SPECPOL, or the Special Political and Decolonization Committee. The SPECPOL set out to fix the political instability which resulted from decolonization in the 20th century, and help to mend many of the issues within incipient nations. In the Political committee at CLEIMUN, delegates will focus on not only the effects of decolonization, but also political instability in the world today.
