Middle School Special Committee
The Middle School Special Committee, or MSSPECPOL for short, is a committee specifically designed for middle school students, concentrating on collaboration, diplomacy, and negotiation over competitive debate. This committee focuses on developing student's public speaking abilities as MUNers. Unlike other CLEIMUN committees, this committee employs the Harvard style of debate. MSSPECPOL delegates will attend the opening ceremony on Wednesday, then proceed to a training session afterwards that focuses on draft resolution writing rather than moving into a lobbying and merging session. The committee will have the first day of committee debate on Thursday. Due to the ever-growing size of CLEIMUN, there will be two Middle School Special Committees. They will debate the same issues but may identify different solutions.
