Economic and Environmental

The Economic and Environmental Committee, known as ECOE, has the goal of ensuring efficient, effective commerce between member nations so as to resolve conflicts and create prosperity. The issue facing this committee often is focused on trade, international commerce, and in this modern era, the growing landscape of e-commerce. It is important to note that this committee was created by CLEIMUN to expand the scope of the conference and that there is no real ECOE. Rather, ECOE is a combination of the Economic and Social Council and the United Nations Environment Programme. This committee will still operate as if it is a functioning UN body during CLEIMUN26. For more information on the countries included in this committee, visit the CCWA matrix.
